Life If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough - Albert Einstein To try and fail is at least to learn. To fail to try is to suffer the inestimable loss of what might have been - Chester Barnard Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the Air.
Here is an interesting discussion about net worth. And here is my favorite comment. Calculate your net worth in terms of the number of awesome friends you have, how healthy you are, how much you have traveled, how much you have read and written, how many noteworthy and exceptional experiences you’ve had and how much you have given back. The enabler of-course is money and you can only think about this after you’ve made the first x amount of dollars.
This is a very interesting discussion thats relevant to most. Here are my two cents on it. Work is only a part of life. Treat it as such. Be intentional about when and how you think about work. Rekindle a hobby that you gave up because you thought you didn’t have the time for it. Make time for it. Pick up a skill that you have never tried to acquire.
